Setup and Care

Installation:

This freestanding washer dryer connects to a standard cold water inlet and household drainage. As a condenser model, it requires no external vent hose, giving flexibility in placement within a kitchen or utility room. The machine can also be stacked with a compatible Candy tumble dryer using the appropriate stacking kit.

First use:

Before loading laundry for the first time, run an empty cotton cycle at 60°C to clean the drum interior. Ensure all transit bolts have been removed from the rear of the machine before connecting and switching on.

Ongoing care:

The condenser water container should be emptied after each drying cycle. Clean the pump filter every few cycles to maintain drainage performance. The door seal and detergent drawer benefit from a regular wipe-down to prevent residue build-up, and the Drum Clean programme keeps the drum interior fresh between washes.

Garment guidance:

Always check garment care labels before selecting wash temperature and spin speed. The Delicate, Wool Dry, and Hand Wash programmes are suited to more sensitive fabrics. The KG Detector automatically adjusts the cycle to suit the load size, so part-filling the drum is handled efficiently without manual adjustment.
