Long-life ceramic plate burner: A high temperature resistant ceramic plate sits behind a metal burner guard, distributing radiant heat evenly across the front of the heater. Ceramic plate burners hold up well to repeated use season after season, which is why they are the standard choice for portable outdoor gas heaters.
