De Vielle Freestanding Electric Stove Heater with Log Flame Effect

Real Atmosphere, No Chimney Required:

This De Vielle electric stove heater delivers the look of a traditional cast-iron stove without any installation, flue, or fuel. The freestanding design means you can place it anywhere there is a standard mains socket, making it a practical option for living rooms, lounges, and rental properties alike.

Two Heat Settings for Year-Round Flexibility:

The heater operates at either 950W or 1850W, letting you match output to the size of the room and the temperature outside. An adjustable thermostat keeps the heat at a consistent level without continuous manual adjustment. Crucially, the log flame effect can be run independently of the heating function entirely, so you can enjoy the visual warmth of a fire on milder evenings without raising the room temperature.

Flame Effect and Safety Features:

The 3-sided log flame effect is produced by 2W LED bulbs, with adjustable brightness so you can set the ambience to suit the room. A safety thermal cut-off device is built in, shutting the heater down automatically if it overheats. The cast-effect plastic finish gives the unit a convincing stove appearance without the weight of cast iron.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can the flame effect on this electric stove heater be used without the heating turned on?

Yes, the flame effect runs completely independently of the heat function. On mild evenings when warmth is not needed, the three-sided log flame effect can be left on for visual atmosphere without raising the room temperature at all. The LED brightness is also adjustable, so the level of ambience can be set to suit the room. The DEVCSHA01 is the model stocked at Heavins.

Does this freestanding electric stove need installation, a chimney, or a flue?

No installation, chimney, or flue is required. This electric stove heater is freestanding and plugs directly into a standard mains socket rated at AC 220-240V / 50Hz, so it can be placed in a living room, lounge, or rental property without any building work. There is nothing to fit and no specialist required.

What safety features does this electric stove heater have?

A built-in thermal cut-off device shuts the heater down automatically if it overheats, guarding against sustained faults. The flame effect is produced by 2W LED bulbs rather than any open element or combustible component, and the unit requires no fuel or flue, removing the risks associated with solid-fuel or gas stoves entirely.

How do the heat settings and thermostat work on this electric stove heater?

Two heat settings are available - 950W for smaller rooms or milder weather, and 1850W for a stronger output. An adjustable thermostat maintains a consistent temperature once the desired level is reached, so the heater cycles rather than running continuously at full power. The flame brightness can also be adjusted separately from the heat setting.
