Large bulky items will be delivered to your door on a pallet by a courier. The cast iron fire grate is a fantastic addition to any fireplace. It is manufactured to a classic design that has been proven over the years. The grate features four sturdy legs and a curved front to contain your fuel.
As wood burns, it falls apart and pieces fall through the grate to the ground. This fire grate serves as an extra source of heat to burn the wood from the bottom up, producing a more complete burn. Air circulates underneath and around the firewood, producing a hotter fire and a better burn. Since firewood is lifted off the ground, this improved air circulation allows for smoke and fumes to be funneled up through the chimney instead of inside your home!
