Cordless vacuum lifting up to 120 kg:

The DCE590N uses an integrated electric vacuum pump to lift and carry construction materials weighing up to 120 kg on horizontal surfaces and 60 kg on vertical surfaces. It replaces passive suction cups by actively generating and maintaining vacuum pressure, giving a secure hold on materials that traditional cups cannot grip.

Works on smooth, semi-porous, and textured surfaces:

The unique foam seal allows the DCE590N to grip textured, semi-porous, and irregular surfaces including paving slabs, natural stone, timber, plasterboard, concrete, sheet metal, and glass. This extends its usefulness well beyond glazing work into tiling, flooring, roofing, and general construction material handling.

Automatic pressure maintenance and safety alerts:

A built-in pressure sensor continuously monitors vacuum levels and automatically restarts the pump to restore suction if pressure drops during a lift. An audible and visual alarm warns the operator when suction pressure or battery charge reaches a minimum safe level, reducing the risk of unexpected release.

LED display with real-time grip data:

The digital LED display shows current pressure in bar or PSI, suction level, and battery charge at a glance. The smart gauge also indicates the maximum safe lifting weight in kilograms or pounds based on current suction, giving the operator clear, actionable feedback on every lift.

Runs on the DeWalt 18V XR platform:

The DCE590N is compatible with all DeWalt 18V XR lithium-ion batteries - the same batteries used across the wider XR range of drills, saws, and grinders. Supplied as a bare unit, it is aimed at professionals already on the DeWalt 18V platform who can use existing batteries. The replaceable seal is available separately as DZE591-XJ.

Setup and Care

Getting started:

Fit a compatible DeWalt 18V XR lithium-ion battery before use. Ensure the foam seal is correctly seated and free from damage before placing the lifter on any material. The LED display will confirm vacuum pressure and battery level once the pump is activated.

Choosing the right surface:

The DCE590N grips smooth surfaces such as glass and glazed tile, as well as semi-porous and textured materials including natural stone, timber, and plasterboard. Always check that the surface area is sufficient to allow full contact with the seal before lifting.

Maintaining suction performance:

Inspect the foam seal regularly and replace it when wear is visible - the replacement seal (DZE591-XJ) is available separately. Clean the filter set periodically to maintain pump efficiency, and store the lifter in a dry location away from dust and debris.

Battery and charger care:

Charge DeWalt 18V XR batteries according to the charger manufacturer's instructions and store them at room temperature. For warranty registration and extended cover, register the tool within 28 days of purchase at mydewalt.dewalt.co.uk.
