The variable speed trigger gives you precise control over grease flow, reducing waste on each application.

2-speed operation for different tasks:

Low speed delivers 85g per minute for controlled, accurate lubrication on tight fittings. High speed delivers 255g per minute when you need to fill joints quickly across larger machinery. Switching between the two modes takes seconds, making the gun practical across automotive, factory, and agricultural maintenance in the one tool.

Practical features for workshop and field use:

A built-in Bleeder Valve removes trapped air from the cartridge, preventing dry-fire and protecting your fittings. The integrated LED work light illuminates the grease fitting in low-light conditions - useful in engine bays, under vehicles, and inside machinery housings. The 1.2m hose includes coil protection at both ends for long-term durability.

Cartridge and bulk-fill compatibility:

The DCGG581N accepts standard 450g grease cartridges or can be bulk-filled with up to 500g of grease. The ergonomic grip areas are over-moulded and sculpted to fit the hand for comfort during extended lubrication runs. This is a body-only unit - any compatible DeWalt 18V XR battery and charger will power it.
