Three Tools, One Battery Platform:

The DCK368P3T brings together three of DeWALT's most capable 18V XR Brushless tools - the DCD796 combi drill, DCF887 impact driver, and DCH273 SDS+ rotary hammer - all running from the same 18V XR battery platform. Three 5.0Ah DCB184 batteries are included, giving you the runtime to move between tasks on site without waiting for a charge.

DCD796 XR Brushless Compact Combi Drill:

The DCD796 uses second-generation XR Brushless motor technology and delivers 460 UWO of power - up to 30% more than the previous DCD795 - from a body just 173 mm long. It produces 70 Nm of torque across 15 clutch settings, with a 13 mm keyless chuck and two speeds covering 0-550 and 0-2,000 rpm. The compact head makes it one of the more practical choices for working in tight spaces on pipework, joinery, or mechanical installations.

DCF887 XR Brushless 3-Speed Impact Driver:

The DCF887 delivers up to 203 Nm of torque through a 6.35 mm (1/4 in) hex chuck, with three speed settings ranging up to 3,000 rpm and impact rates up to 3,700 bpm. The Precision Drive mode reduces torque at the point of seating to protect both the fastener head and the material surface - useful for composite decking, cabinet fitting, and finish carpentry. At 1.56 kg, it handles extended overhead and repetitive fastening work without excessive fatigue.

DCH273 XR Brushless SDS+ Rotary Hammer:

The DCH273 operates in three modes - rotary drilling, hammer drilling, and chisel only - with 2.1 joules of impact energy and an impact rate of 0-4,600 bpm. It drills up to 24 mm in masonry, 26 mm in wood, and 13 mm in metal, and is rated to drill more than 90 holes (10 mm x 80 mm) per charge. The Perform & Protect system keeps hand-arm vibration to 6.6 m/s² in drilling mode, meeting site welfare requirements under the Control of Vibration at Work Regulations.

TSTAK II Cases and DCB115 Charger:

The kit ships with two TSTAK II transport cases, which are compatible with DeWALT's wider TSTAK modular storage system - they stack and interlock with other TSTAK units for organised van or site storage. The DCB115 XR Multi-Voltage Charger handles all 10.8 V to 18 V XR batteries and charges a 2.0 Ah pack in 30 minutes. An LED indicator on the charger displays charge status, power fault, and temperature conditions at a glance.

Warranty and Registration:

DeWALT offers a 1-year warranty as standard, which extends to 3 years on the tools when registered at dewalt.co.uk/mydewalt/register/ within 28 days of purchase. The warranty extension does not apply to the batteries or charger. The 5.0 Ah DCB184 batteries are also compatible with the full range of DeWALT 18V XR tools, so they carry their value beyond this kit.

Setup and Care

Getting started:

Insert a charged DCB184 battery into the tool until it clicks into place. For the DCH273, select your operating mode using the mode selector collar before switching on. Register the tools at dewalt.co.uk/mydewalt/register/ within 28 days to activate the 3-year warranty.

Battery care:

Charge batteries using the included DCB115 charger. The LED indicator shows charging status, full charge, and any temperature or fault conditions. Store batteries at room temperature when not in use for extended periods, and avoid leaving them fully discharged.

Blade and bit compatibility:

The DCH273 accepts standard SDS+ bits and chisels. The DCD796 takes round-shank and hex-shank bits up to 13 mm. The DCF887 accepts all standard 1/4 in hex-shank screwdriver and drill bits.

Maintenance:

Wipe tools down with a dry cloth after use. Keep the chuck and bit holder free from dust build-up. Store tools in the supplied TSTAK II cases when transporting to protect them from impact damage.
