Three heat settings with digital thermostat control:

The digital thermostat allows precise temperature selection between 20°C and 40°C, and Dimplex's Tecasea Sensitive technology adjusts output to maintain your chosen temperature. A built-in digital timer runs from 0 to 9 hours, so you can set the heater to switch off automatically after a timed session.

Weather-rated and built for safe use:

With an IP44 protection rating, the DXOTDRFS2 is shielded against splashing water from any direction, making it suitable for covered outdoor areas. The rollover safety cut-off automatically stops the heater if it is knocked over. Setup and Care

Getting started:

Place the heater on a firm, level surface with at least 1 metre of clearance above and around the unit. Plug into a suitable mains socket and use the control panel or remote to select your preferred heat setting and temperature.

Best placement tips:

Position the heater to face the seating or gathering area directly, as carbon infrared heat works best in a line of sight. For outdoor use, place under a covered area such as a porch, gazebo or patio canopy to maximise warmth and protect from direct rain.

Keeping your heater in top condition:

Allow the heater to cool fully before cleaning. Wipe the body with a soft, dry cloth. Fit the dust cover when the heater is not in use or during longer storage periods. Store indoors over winter months to extend the lifespan of the unit.

Safety reminders:

Keep the heater away from curtains, furnishings and flammable materials. The rollover safety feature will cut power if the unit tips, but always ensure a stable, level base. Inspect the power cable regularly and do not use the heater if the cable or plug shows signs of damage.
