The Supersonic Travel uses the same Dyson digital motor V9 found in the full-size Supersonic, spinning at up to 110,000 rpm and producing 11.6 l/s of airflow. Combined with Air Multiplier™ technology, it generates a high-pressure, high-velocity jet of controlled air for fast drying and precision styling, outputting up to 1,220 W. Intelligent Heat Control for Healthier-Looking Hair:

The built-in Intelligent heat control monitors air temperature over 100 times per second, adjusting output to protect hair from heat damage. Three heat settings - high, low, and cold shot - combine with two speed settings to suit different hair types and styling needs, from a quick morning dry to a more considered finish. Maximum air temperature is capped at 100°C to keep heat exposure within a consistent, controlled range.

Setup and Care

Getting Started:

Plug the dryer into any mains socket between 100 V and 240 V - no voltage converter is needed. Attach the styling concentrator by aligning it with the nozzle and rotating until it clicks into place. Select your preferred speed and heat setting before switching on.

Choosing Your Settings:

Use the high heat and high speed combination for fast initial drying, then switch to low heat for a smoother finish. The cold shot setting helps to set your style once dried. For finer or colour-treated hair, the low heat setting keeps temperature exposure consistent with what Intelligent heat control is designed to maintain.

Packing and Storage:

Allow the dryer to cool fully before placing it in your bag or case. The compact dimensions mean it fits comfortably alongside other toiletries in a carry-on. Keep the styling concentrator attached or stored alongside the dryer to avoid misplacing it.

Cleaning and Maintenance:

Check the filter cage at the rear of the dryer regularly and remove any lint or hair using a soft dry cloth or a small brush. Dyson recommends cleaning the filter monthly if using the dryer frequently. Do not immerse the dryer in water or use it near water sources.
