Setup and Care

Charging and docking station installation:

Mount the docking station to the wall using the included fixings, ensuring the wall is strong enough to support the vacuum. Connect the charger to the docking station and plug into a mains socket. Click the vacuum into the docking station to charge. A full charge takes approximately 5 hours. The docking station stores the vacuum and up to two additional tools, keeping everything organised and ready to use.

Selecting cleaner heads and power modes:

Attach the De-tangling Motorbar cleaner head for carpet and mixed-floor cleaning. Switch to the Fluffy soft roller head for hard floor cleaning on vinyl, laminate, parquet, and tile. Use the slide switch to select between Powerful mode (up to 40 minutes for everyday cleaning) and Max mode (up to 7 minutes for stubborn, ground-in dirt).

Handheld conversion and additional tools:

Remove the wand and cleaner head to convert the V8 Absolute into a handheld vacuum. Attach the Hair screw tool for de-tangling pet hair from upholstery and car seats. Use the Mattress tool for removing dust and allergens from bedding. The Combination tool and Crevice tool reach into narrow gaps, corners, and between cushions.

Emptying the bin and filter maintenance:

Empty the 0.54 litre bin using the hygienic point-and-shoot mechanism. Pull the red lever to eject dust and debris in a single action without touching the contents. Wash the filter under cold running water monthly and allow to dry completely for 24 hours before refitting. Regularly check the brush bars for tangled hair and remove as needed to maintain optimal cleaning performance.
