Rather than using heat to fire ink droplets, the ET-2910 relies on Epson's MicroPiezo Heat-Free Technology, which uses piezo crystals that pulse in response to electrical signals. This produces ink droplets that are consistent in shape and size, printing at up to 5,760 x 1,440 dpi with ISO speeds of 11 pages per minute in black and 6 pages per minute in colour.

Wireless from any room in the house:

Built-in Wi-Fi 4 (802.11b/g/n) and Wi-Fi Direct allow the ET-2910 to connect to home networks or directly to a device without a router. Setup and Care

Getting started:

Place the ET-2910 on a flat, stable surface with enough clearance for the rear paper feed and scanner lid to open fully. Connect to your home Wi-Fi network using the Epson Smart Panel app on iOS or Android, or via the WPS button on your router for a one-step wireless connection.

Loading ink:

Fill each EcoTank from the corresponding 522 ink bottle - the tanks are keyed by colour so mismatching is not possible. Once filled, the tanks sit sealed with no exposure to air during normal use, keeping the ink stable between print jobs.

Paper loading:

Load up to 100 sheets of standard A4 paper into the rear feed tray. For borderless 4x6" or 100x148 mm photo prints, load the appropriate photo paper and select the matching paper size in the print settings before sending the job.

Ongoing maintenance:

The ET-2910 includes a print head cleaning utility accessible through the Epson Smart Panel app or the printer driver on Windows and Mac. Run a nozzle check if print quality drops after a period of inactivity, and allow the printer to complete its automatic maintenance cycle before switching off at the mains.
