Setup and Care

Positioning and Initial Setup:

Place the EF-62B on any stable flat surface between 0.8 m and 4.0 m from your projection wall or screen. Intelligent Instant Setup handles focus, keystone correction, screen fit, and obstacle detection automatically on first power-up, so your image is correctly aligned within seconds.

Connecting to Your Home Network:

Select your Wi-Fi 6 network during the Google TV setup process and sign in with your Google account to access streaming apps and Google Assistant. HDMI ARC/eARC allows a single cable connection to a soundbar or TV for both video and return audio. Bluetooth 5.2 pairs with headphones or external speakers directly from the Google TV settings menu.

Getting the Best Picture:

For the sharpest results, use the EF-62B in a darkened room or in twilight conditions - 700 lumens is well suited to evening and low-light viewing rather than brightly lit daytime rooms. Select the Cinema colour mode for films and the Dynamic mode for sports. Wall Colour Adjustment compensates for coloured walls if a dedicated screen is not available.

Ongoing Care:

The RGB-LED light source requires no lamp replacements for the lifetime of normal use, rated to 20,000 hours. Keep the ventilation grilles clear of obstructions during use. Wipe the exterior with a soft, dry cloth. The Epson Projection Studio app (iOS and Android) provides remote control and additional setup options from your smartphone.
