Goldcrop Premium Lawn Seed for Irish Gardens - 1.5kg Bag

A blend developed for Irish conditions:

Goldcrop Lawn Seed No. 2 is made up of 60% dwarf perennial ryegrass, 35% strong creeping red fescue, and 5% chewing's fescue - three grass varieties selected for their natural toughness and fast establishment in the Irish climate. The blend is certified by the Irish Department of Agriculture and has been tested at trial sites including the Sports Turf Research Institute (S.T.R.I.) at Goldcrop's headquarters in Cork.

Suitable for new lawns and repair work:

The 1.5kg bag covers approximately 30 to 43 square metres at the recommended sowing rate of 35 g/m² to 50 g/m², making it a practical size for patch repairs, small new lawns, or overseeding thin areas. Sowing can be carried out from March through to late September. The finished lawn is hard-wearing, suitable for everyday recreational use, and child and pet friendly.

Easy to sow with straightforward preparation:

Clear the area of weeds and debris, cultivate the soil to a fine, firm crumb texture, and rake level before sowing. After broadcasting the seed, lightly rake to a depth of 0.5 cm and firm in by walking or rolling over the surface. Full sowing instructions are printed on the bag.
