Setup and Care

Installation:

This pump requires a positive head (gravity-fed) plumbing configuration. It is suitable for installation in an airing cupboard or loft space, close to the water supply. Always ensure the minimum static head of 1m is present before installation.

Electrical Connection:

The pump operates on a standard 230V, 50Hz single-phase supply with a 1.5m cable supplied. Electrical connections should be carried out by a qualified electrician in accordance with current wiring regulations.

Routine Maintenance:

The silicon carbide seals are designed for long service life under normal operating conditions. Keep the pump area dry and free from obstruction, and inspect hose connections periodically for signs of wear or leakage.

Thermal Protection:

The integrated thermal protection system will stop the motor if it reaches an unsafe temperature. Allow the pump to cool fully before restarting, and investigate the cause of overheating before returning to service.
