Setup and Care

Positioning your TV:

The 55U71Q can be mounted on the included stand or wall-mounted using a VESA 400 x 200 mm bracket (bracket sold separately). Allow adequate ventilation around the unit and position it away from direct sunlight to get the best from the Total Ambient Adaptive feature.

Connecting your devices:

Use HDMI ports 3 or 4 for your gaming console or PC to take full advantage of HDMI 2.1 bandwidth at 144Hz. Connect your soundbar or AV receiver to the eARC-enabled HDMI 3 port for the best audio signal quality. The dual-band Wi-Fi supports both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz networks for reliable streaming.

First-time setup:

VIDAA U7 guides you through network connection, streaming account sign-in, and picture calibration on first boot. The set auto-detects connected devices via ALLM and switches to Game Mode Pro automatically when a console or PC source is active, keeping input lag as low as possible without manual adjustment.

Screen care:

Clean the screen using a soft, dry microfibre cloth. Avoid spraying liquid directly onto the panel or using abrasive cloths. When not in use for extended periods, switch the set fully off rather than leaving it on standby to preserve backlight longevity.
