The Kärcher SE 2 Spot Care uses spray extraction technology to lift fresh and set-in stains from carpets, sofas, and car seats. It sprays cleaning solution into the fibres and immediately suctions it back out, bringing dirt, odours, and residue with it. The 4.5 m power cable combined with the 1.8 m suction hose gives a total operating radius of 6.3 m, so you can cover a full room without repositioning the unit.

Two separate tanks for clean results:

The 2-tank system keeps fresh and dirty water completely separate throughout the cleaning process. The fresh water container holds 1.5 litres and the dirty water container holds 0.8 litres, meaning you can empty and refill without coming into contact with dirty water. Accessories store directly on the unit via the 2-in-1 comfort system, so the hose and attachments are always to hand when you need them.

Setup and Care

Getting started:

Fill the fresh water tank with clean tap water up to the 1.5 L maximum fill line and add the recommended amount of RM 519 or compatible Kärcher carpet cleaner. Attach the suction hose and upholstery nozzle, then plug into a standard 220-240 V mains socket. The unit is ready to use immediately with no assembly required beyond connecting the hose.

Cleaning technique:

Work the nozzle slowly over the stained area, allowing the spray extraction system to push solution into the fibres and suction it back out in a single pass. For stubborn or dried stains, use the stain brush to agitate the area first before applying the nozzle. Overlapping passes on heavily soiled areas will improve results.

After each use:

Empty the dirty water container after every session and rinse it with clean water before storage. Leave the fresh water tank empty between uses to prevent any residual moisture build-up inside the unit. Store the hose and attachments on the integrated 2-in-1 comfort system hooks on the unit body.

Long-term care:

Use only Kärcher-approved cleaning detergents such as RM 519 to maintain the internal components and ensure effective cleaning results. Wipe down the exterior of the unit with a damp cloth as needed. Keep the unit stored indoors in a dry location away from frost.
