Setup and Care

Getting started:

The TV comes with the stand and screws needed for tabletop placement. Wall mounting requires a separately purchased bracket compatible with the 300 x 200mm VESA pattern - LG's OLW480B bracket is designed specifically for this model. The AI Magic Remote pairs automatically on first use and supports Far Field Voice Recognition for hands-free control from across the room.

Network setup:

Connect via Wi-Fi 6E for the fastest wireless performance, or plug an Ethernet cable into the RJ-45 port for a wired connection. The webOS 26 setup wizard guides you through network connection, account linking, and smart home integration with Google Home, Apple HomeKit, and LG ThinQ during initial configuration.

Gaming setup:

For console or PC gaming, connect to any of the four HDMI 2.1 ports. The Game Optimiser menu, accessible via the Game Dashboard, allows you to enable VRR, ALLM, and adjust HDR tone-mapping settings in one place. Select the G-Sync Compatible or AMD FreeSync Premium mode to match your graphics card for tear-free play at up to 165Hz.

Screen care:

The OLED evo panel includes OLED Care tools, accessible in the settings menu, which help maintain panel longevity over time. Wipe the screen gently with a dry microfibre cloth when needed.
