Setup and Care

Getting started:

The TV is pre-configured to run through LG's on-screen setup wizard on first power-on, connecting to your home Wi-Fi and signing into your LG account to activate the webOS AI features. The height-adjustable stand attaches via the supplied screws and can be set to either of two height positions before placing the TV - choose the lower position if fitting a soundbar beneath the screen.

Wall mounting:

The 55QNED86B6B is compatible with any VESA 300 × 300 mm wall bracket (sold separately). The panel depth without stand is 29.7 mm, allowing a close-to-wall installation with a low-profile bracket. Retain the stand hardware in case the TV is relocated.

Gaming setup:

Connect your console or PC to any of the four HDMI 2.1 ports. Open Game Optimiser from the Settings menu or the dedicated button on the Magic Remote to enable VRR, ALLM, and the preferred display mode for your platform. AMD FreeSync Premium activates automatically when detected on a compatible source.

Screen care:

Clean the screen with a soft, dry microfibre cloth. Avoid applying liquid directly to the panel or using abrasive materials. When the TV is not in use for extended periods, the built-in screen saver and auto-off timer help preserve the panel and reduce standby power to 0.5 W.
