Digital radio reception you can take anywhere:

The Little Shelford receives both DAB+ and FM signals, covering the full 174-240 MHz DAB band and 87.5-108 MHz FM range. It carries the government-certified Future Ready Green Tick, confirming it meets the UK digital radio standard, and stores up to 10 DAB+ and 10 FM presets so your favourite stations are always one button away.

Flexible power for home and outdoors:

Run the Little Shelford from the supplied USB-C mains cable at a worktop or beside table, or switch to 4 x AA batteries (not included) for up to 15 hours of portable use. A leather-look carry handle makes it straightforward to move between the kitchen, garden, or office without any fuss.

Bluetooth streaming and wired listening:

Pair a smartphone or tablet wirelessly via Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR with a range of up to 10 metres to stream audio directly through the 1 x 3W RMS speaker. A rear-mounted 3.5mm headphone jack provides a wired listening option when you need to keep sound to yourself. Note: Bluetooth headphones are not compatible with this model.

Alarm, sleep timer, and display:

The dual digital alarm clock lets you set two separate wake times, using a DAB+ or FM station as the alarm sound. A sleep timer offers settings from 5 to 120 minutes, and the backlit LCD display with dimmable white-on-black text keeps station information readable in any light. The radio operates without an internet connection.

Setup and Care

Getting started:

Extend the telescopic aerial fully before scanning for DAB+ stations. Connect the USB-C cable to a mains adaptor (not included) or insert 4 x AA batteries into the battery compartment. Press and hold the scan button to auto-populate your DAB+ station list, then assign favourites to your 10 available presets.

Pairing via Bluetooth:

Select the Bluetooth input mode on the radio, then locate "Majority Little Shelford" in your device's Bluetooth settings and confirm the pairing. The radio will reconnect automatically to the last paired device when Bluetooth mode is next selected.

Setting alarms and sleep timer:

Access the alarm menu to configure up to two independent alarms, choosing DAB+ or FM as the wake sound for each. Set the sleep timer from the menu to switch the radio off automatically after your chosen interval, from 5 up to 120 minutes.

Care and maintenance:

Wipe the cabinet with a dry or lightly dampened cloth - avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents. Remove batteries if storing the radio for an extended period to prevent leakage. Store indoors when not in use, as the Little Shelford has no IP waterproof rating.
