The ViAX 300 uses MOVA's UltraEyes™ 1.0 system - a dual Ultra-HDR AI camera array with a 120° × 70° field of view and a detection range of up to 50 metres - to map your lawn automatically and create virtual boundaries. There is no perimeter wire to lay, no RTK base station to position, and no ground work required before your first mow.

Covers up to 300 m² per day in standard mode:

The ViAX 300 is rated for lawns up to 300 m² and can cover 500 m² per day when switched to Efficient mode, making it well suited to gardens that need more frequent passes. It follows U-shaped mowing paths with logically optimised routing to maximise coverage and minimise overlap on every run.

Handles slopes and splits gardens handle easily:

Front-wheel drive, an all-direction swivel rear wheel, and all-terrain tyres combine to manage gradients up to 40% (22°) - well beyond the 25-30% limit typical of most robotic mowers in this class. The MOVAhome app supports dual-map management, so lawns split by a path or driveway can be handled as two separate zones with independent schedules and custom mowing areas.

Quick to charge, quiet to run:

A full charge takes 45 minutes and delivers 50 minutes of mowing time, with the robot returning to its base station automatically when the battery runs low or a session ends. The sound power level is 57 dB(A), which is low enough to run without disturbing neighbours during typical garden hours.

Security built into the robot itself:

TrueGuard uses AI-powered live video patrol and human detection to monitor the mower while it works. Setup and Care

Getting started:

Place the charging station on a flat, sheltered area of the garden with access to a power socket. Download the MOVAhome app, connect the robot to your home Wi-Fi via Bluetooth pairing, and follow the in-app setup to initiate the first mapping run. UltraEyes™ 1.0 will survey the lawn and create a virtual boundary map without any physical installation work.

Scheduling and zone management:

Use the MOVAhome app to set mowing days, start times, and custom zones for up to two separate lawn areas. The robot follows its programmed schedule automatically, returning to the base station to charge between sessions and resuming from where it left off when power is restored.

Blade and height maintenance:

Check the cutting blade periodically and replace when wear is visible; blades are a standard replacement consumable for robotic mowers and should be refreshed each season for best results. Adjust mowing height using the on-board dial, selecting from 20 mm to 60 mm to suit the season and grass growth rate.

Cleaning and storage:

After mowing, remove any grass or debris from the underside of the robot using a soft brush or dry cloth; avoid directing pressurised water at the camera lenses or any sensor apertures. For winter storage, keep the robot and charging station in a dry location within the temperature range of -10°C to 35°C, with a recommended storage temperature of 0-25°C to preserve battery condition.
