Setup and Care

Getting started:

Place the unit on a stable, heat-resistant surface with at least 20 cm of clearance above the lid. Fit the ceramic cooking pot into the base, add your ingredients, and select your function using the rotary dial. The LCD display confirms your selection before cooking begins.

Pressure cooking tips:

Always ensure the SmartLid is correctly seated and the pressure release valve is in the sealed position before starting a pressure cook cycle. HyperHeat Technology brings the pot to pressure efficiently, so preheating time is brief. Follow the Recipe Guide timings as a reliable starting point for common dishes.

Cleaning and care:

The ceramic cooking pot and steam rack are both dishwasher safe, making clean-up after pressure or slow cooking straightforward. Wipe the outer housing and lid with a damp cloth only - do not submerge the base unit. The PFAS-free ceramic coating releases food cleanly, so soaking is rarely needed.
