The machine's Barista Assist Technology automatically recommends the optimal grind size from 60 available settings and monitors brew temperature and pressure throughout the shot. A built-in precision scale confirms the correct dose by weight before brewing begins, so there is no need to manually calibrate settings each time. Three coffee strength levels and three temperature settings give you further control once the basics are dialled in.

Pro Auto Frothing for hands-free microfoam:

Setup and Care

Getting started:

Fill the 1.3L water reservoir, add beans to the 250g hopper, and run the machine through its initial rinse cycle before first use. Use the included water hardness test strip to set the correct descale reminder frequency for your local water supply.

Daily maintenance:

The funnel, whisk, cleaning disc, water reservoir, bean hopper, and all drip tray components are dishwasher safe, making the daily clean-up straightforward. A quick rinse cycle is available directly from the machine's control panel between drink types.

Descaling and deep cleaning:

The machine prompts you when a descale cycle is due. Use the included descale powder and cleaning tablets as directed, which keeps the thermoblock and brew path in good working order. Regular descaling is particularly recommended in hard water areas.

Storing the machine:

The Assisted Tamper and funnel store on top of the machine, keeping the worktop tidy between uses. If the machine will not be used for an extended period, empty the water reservoir and bean hopper and leave all removable parts clean and dry before storing.
