Setup and Care
Installation:
The PZ3-30AL can be wall-mounted using the included screws and wall plugs, or suspended from a ceiling or beam using the supplied suspension chain and keyrings. The hardwired 1m cable should be connected to a suitable mains supply by a qualified electrician in line with local regulations. Position the unit away from competing light sources and at a height appropriate for the target flying insects.
Routine cleaning:
The deep catch tray slides out for easy removal and can be emptied and wiped clean as part of regular kitchen hygiene routines. Always isolate the unit from the mains supply before removing the catch tray or carrying out any servicing. Regular cleaning helps maintain effective performance and supports food hygiene compliance.
Lamp replacement:
UV lamp output diminishes over time even when the lamp remains visibly lit. For consistent performance in commercial environments, lamps should be replaced at intervals recommended by Insect-O-Cutor. Storage:
