The Portwest Steelite™ FW51 is a no-lace dealer boot constructed from full-grain leather and rated to EN ISO 20345:2022 S1P. It combines a 200-joule steel toecap with a pierce-resistant steel midsole, making it a solid choice for construction, manufacturing, and general industrial environments where underfoot hazards are a regular concern.
Comfort across long shifts:
The Dual Density Sole Unit is a two-layer PU/PU construction that cushions each step, while the Energy Absorbing Seat Region in the heel reduces the impact of prolonged standing or walking on hard surfaces. The elasticated gussets allow the boot to flex around the foot for a close fit, and the back pull-tab makes putting the boots on straightforward at the start of a shift.
Slip and chemical resistance underfoot:
The outsole carries an SRC slip-resistance rating, meaning it has been tested on both ceramic tile and steel surfaces - the two most demanding substrates in the standard. It is also fuel and oil resistant, which adds durability in workshop, garage, and plant environments where spills are common.
Compliance and certifications:
The FW51 holds CE certification and UKCA marking, and meets the EN ISO 20345:2022 S1P standard as well as AS 2210.3.
