The Rawlplug Aggressor RT-SDSA-55/110 is a 5.5mm SDS Plus masonry drill bit with a total length of 110mm and a working length of 50mm. It fits any standard SDS Plus hammer drill and is suited to drilling into concrete, brick, and stone for a wide range of fixing applications including wall brackets, ceiling mounts, TV brackets, satellite dishes, and ventilated facades.
High-grade steel for durability and drilling efficiency:
The bit is manufactured from 34CrNiMo6 steel and heat treated to a hardness of 52 HRC, giving it strong resistance to the stresses of rotary percussion drilling. The carbide plate is seated very deeply into the drill core, which improves the connection between tip and shank and contributes to consistent hole quality throughout the life of the bit.
Geometry designed to reduce slip and clear waste quickly:
A centre point on the tip allows drilling to begin accurately without the bit walking across the surface, and the 160 degree tip angle is optimised for rapid penetration into concrete.
