This Rawlplug spade drill bit cuts a clean 28mm hole in a single pass through wood, chipboard, oriented strand board, and structural timber. The rounded cutting geometry removes material quickly without burning or snagging, making it a practical choice for joinery, construction, and general woodworking tasks.

Reinforced shank and self-centering point:

The 1/4" (6.35mm) hex grip shank is reinforced to handle the high torsional forces generated when boring large-diameter holes, and it fits directly into most cordless drills and impact drivers without an adaptor. The centering point bites into the surface immediately, keeping the bit on target and preventing it from wandering across the workpiece at the start of the cut.
