Setup and Care

Initial station scan and preset setup:

Connect the mains adaptor and switch on the radio. The Blutune 7 will automatically scan for all available DAB+ and FM stations on first use. Browse the station list and save your favourites to the 40 available presets (20 DAB and 20 FM). Assign your most-listened stations to the 5 direct-access buttons on the top panel for instant one-touch recall.

Bluetooth pairing and streaming:

Select Bluetooth mode on the radio and activate Bluetooth on your smartphone, tablet, or laptop. Find the Roberts Blutune 7 in your device's Bluetooth settings and pair. Once connected, audio from your device streams wirelessly through the dual stereo speakers. Use the physical bass and treble knobs to adjust the sound to your preference.

Setting alarms, sleep timer, and AUX connections:

Set the dual alarms through the on-screen menu, choosing your preferred DAB+ or FM station as the alarm source. Adjust the sleep timer to fade the radio to silence after a set period for bedtime listening. Connect external audio sources via the 3.5mm AUX input for TV audio or CD player playback through the stereo speakers. Use the 3.5mm headphone socket for private listening.

Battery use and general care:

For portable use, insert 6 x AA batteries (not included) and carry using the aluminium handle. Rechargeable AA batteries are recommended for regular portable use. Clean the exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Keep the speaker grille free of dust for optimal sound quality. Store in a dry location when not in use.
