The RHDH1001 extracts up to 10 litres of water from the air in a 24-hour period, tested at 30°C and 80% relative humidity. This makes it well suited to rooms where damp, condensation, or slow-drying laundry is a persistent issue. At 340W, it covers rooms of 15 to 30m² including bedrooms, utility rooms, and home offices.

2-litre water tank with water-full alarm:

The transparent 2-litre water tank lets you check the fill level at a glance without removing it. When the tank reaches capacity, a water-full indicator activates and the unit stops automatically. For rooms where emptying the tank regularly is not convenient, a 600mm continuous drainage hose allows unattended operation by directing water directly to a drain.

24-hour timer and LED display:

The built-in 24-hour timer lets you schedule dehumidification cycles to suit your routine, whether that is overnight drying or daytime operation while the house is empty. The LED display shows the current humidity level, and the variable humidity settings allow you to select your preferred target level. Setup and Care

Positioning the unit:

Place the dehumidifier on a flat, stable surface with adequate clearance around the air vents for unobstructed airflow. The carry handles and wheels make it easy to position in whichever room needs treatment first.

Setting your humidity level:

Use the LED control panel to select a target humidity level suited to your home. The 24-hour timer can be set to run the unit during periods that suit your schedule, reducing the need to switch it on and off manually.

Emptying and draining:

The transparent tank shows the water level at a glance. When the water-full indicator activates, remove and empty the tank before resuming operation. Alternatively, connect the 600mm drainage hose to a suitable drain for continuous, unattended use.

Filter and general maintenance:

Check the air filter periodically and clean it as needed to keep airflow efficient. The unit can be wiped down with a soft, dry cloth. Replacement filters, drain hoses, and bungs are available as spare parts directly from Russell Hobbs.
