Setup and Care

Placement:

The Aero Linear stand offers two footprint options - full width at 1049.7 x 270.4 mm or a reduced footprint at 308.3 x 270.4 mm - giving flexibility for different unit widths. VESA mounting is supported at 400 x 300 mm for wall installation. Allow adequate ventilation around the set during normal use.

Initial Setup:

The Tizen Smart TV guided setup walks through Wi-Fi connection, account sign-in, and Saorview tuner scanning in a straightforward sequence. Bixby and Alexa activate from the voice remote during setup. SmartThings Hub registration can be completed from the SmartThings app on a compatible smartphone.

Screen Care:

Clean the screen using a soft, dry microfibre cloth with light, even pressure. For the frame and stand, a lightly dampened cloth is suitable. Avoid abrasive materials or household spray cleaners directly on the panel.

Long-Term Software Support:

Samsung commits to seven years of Tizen OS upgrades from 2026 and security patches through to 31 December 2031, meaning the TV will continue to receive platform updates well beyond typical support windows for consumer electronics.
