Sirocco Natural Wicker Oval Log Basket for the Fireside

Natural willow with a canvas liner:

This Sirocco oval basket is woven from natural willow and fitted with a canvas liner that keeps dust and bark debris contained. The liner means logs sit cleanly in the basket without scattering debris across your floor, making it a practical addition beside any stove or open fire.

Twin carry handles for easy movement:

Two sturdy carry handles are built into the sides of the basket, letting you carry a full load of logs from the woodpile to the fireside without difficulty. The oval shape gives a generous opening, making it straightforward to load and unload.

Versatile around the home:

Although well suited to fireside log storage, the basket works equally well as a laundry carrier or for keeping children's toys tidy. Its natural finish sits comfortably in most room settings without looking out of place during the warmer months when the fire is not in use.

Why Shop With Us?

Frequently Asked Questions

Does this wicker log basket stop bark and debris scattering across the floor?

Yes, it does. The basket is fitted with a canvas liner that keeps bark, dust, and debris contained inside, so logs sit cleanly without spreading mess across your floor. This makes it a practical choice beside an open fire or stove, and it removes one of the main drawbacks of an unlined wicker log basket.

What are the dimensions of this oval log basket?

The basket measures 560 mm long, 410 mm wide, and 290 mm tall. That gives a generous oval opening that makes it straightforward to load and unload logs. Check those figures against the space available beside your fire or stove before ordering. The model reference is 302504.

Can this oval log basket be used for storage around the home when the fire is not lit?

It works well beyond the fireside. The basket suits use as a laundry carrier or for keeping children's toys tidy, and its natural wicker finish sits comfortably in most room settings without looking out of place during the warmer months. Two carry handles make it straightforward to move from room to room.
