Nature’s Haven Easy Wildflowers Shady Mix combines flower seeds as well as seed sowing granules hand picked to be perfect for shady areas. The seeds include native British Isles wildflowers for a nectar rich and colourful wildflower garden.

The flowers included in this mix are high in nectar, so this mix will attract bees, butterflies and other beneficial insects to your garden. Furthermore, Easy Wildflowers Shady Mix is easy to grow – simply scatter and watch it turn into a beautiful display.

When to Sow

Aim to sow your wildflower seeds when the soil temperature is between 10-18°C.

Prepare Area for Sowing

1. Remove any large stones and weeds.
2. Dig over soil and level out. 
3. Firm seeds down onto soil and gently water them.

Sowing Seeds

1. Shake the box well before use.
2. To ensure even coverage, sow in a criss-cross pattern.
3. Firm seeds down onto soil and gently water them.

Water daily, preferably in the evening until seedlings appear, and then as required depending on weather conditions. For an earlier and even better show, you can plant in the autumn (Aug-Oct) for flowering in the spring. Protect young plants from pests, particularly slugs.
