Zinsser BIN Aqua is a high-performance water-based primer, sealer, and stain blocker that tackles the most stubborn surface contaminants. The white-pigmented formula blocks stains from water damage, nicotine, smoke, grease, oil, soot, rust, mildew, tannin, crayon, and lipstick. It also acts as an outstanding odour barrier, sealing odours from fire damage, cigarette smoke, mildew, pet urine, and fireplaces. One to two coats seal knots and resin on bare timber, preventing bleed-through into topcoats.

Adheres to difficult surfaces without sanding or de-glossing:

BIN Aqua bonds to glossy enamel paint, clear finishes, glass, Formica, MDF, ceramic tile, PVC, and non-ferrous metal without the need for sanding or de-glossing. This makes it the ideal adhesion primer for repainting kitchen cabinets, doors, frames, furniture, and previously varnished or oil-based surfaces. The excellent opacity transitions dark or stained surfaces to a uniform white base in fewer coats.

Interior and exterior use with fast drying and easy cleanup:

Unlike shellac-based BIN, the water-based Aqua formula can be used for full-surface exterior priming on brick, concrete, aluminium, and PVC, as well as all interior surfaces. Touch dry in 25 minutes with a recoat time of just 45 minutes, keeping projects on schedule. The low-odour formula is ideal for occupied homes, and cleanup requires only soap and warm water. Compatible with water-based and alkyd topcoats.
