Christmas Berry Brights

Berry Christmas Lights

A berry light set uses small round moulded caps over each LED rather than a bare bulb, so the lit points read as soft berries rather than as sharp dots. The effect is closer to a traditional set than a modern fine wire one, and it is particularly good woven through a garland, a wreath or a mantelpiece arrangement where you want the lights to look like part of the greenery rather than draped over it.

Where Berry Lights Work Best

On greenery, every time. The moulded caps catch and diffuse the light so a berry set threaded into a fir garland looks deliberate where a plain string looks added on. Red berry sets suit a traditional green and gold scheme and read as holly berries from a distance. Warm white suits a snowy garland or a frosted wreath. Multi coloured works on a family tree where the lights themselves are part of the decoration.

Battery Berry Sets and Timers

Berry sets are usually battery operated, which is the point: a garland on a banister or a wreath on a door has no socket near it. A built in timer means the set comes on at the same time each evening without anyone reaching behind the greenery to find the switch.

Berry sets here are Premier BerryBrights, 360 LED multi action battery sets in red, warm white and multi coloured. Pair them with a Christmas garland or a wreath, see other socket-free options in battery operated Christmas lights, or browse the full Christmas lights range.

Berry sets move with garlands and wreaths, peaking in November. See what is reduced now in clearance.
