Lawn area in square metres is the specification that decides everything, and it should be measured rather than estimated, because a mower rated below your lawn will not finish a cut in a session. The Navimow range spans 500m2 to 1500m2 here. Beyond area, navigation is the real difference between models and it is worth understanding. All of these are wire-free, meaning no perimeter boundary wire has to be pegged around the lawn, which removes both the installation work and the commonest failure point on older robot mowers. They locate themselves by satellite positioning instead, which is why an antenna and clear sky view matter, and why an extension cable is stocked to move that antenna somewhere with a better signal if the base station sits against a wall or under trees. LiDAR models add a laser scanner that maps surroundings and detects obstacles directly, which improves reliability under tree cover or beside buildings where satellite signal alone can drift. AWD means all-wheel drive, and it is the specification to look for on a sloped or uneven lawn where a two-wheel machine loses traction on wet grass. Blades are consumable and dull over a season, so a replacement set is a normal running cost rather than a repair.

Segway supplies the range under the Navimow name.
