4-zone Rapidlite ceramic hob:

The vitroceramic hob has four Rapidlite zones that reach maximum temperature quickly, with residual heat indicators on each zone to show when a surface is still hot after use. The smooth glass surface wipes down easily between uses.

SimplySteam cleaning:

The main oven features SimplySteam, a steam-assisted cleaning function that softens burnt-on food residues so they can be wiped away without harsh scrubbing. The glass panel in the top cavity door can be fully removed for more thorough cleaning when needed.

Setup and Care

Installation:

The FTC6701K must be hardwired to a dedicated 32-amp cooker circuit by a qualified electrician. Recess dimensions for housing in a cooker gap are 1,650 x 665 x 665 mm (HxWxD). Allow adequate clearance around the unit for ventilation during use.

First use:

Run the main oven empty at a high temperature for approximately 30 minutes before first cooking use to burn off any manufacturing residues. This is normal and any light smoke or smell will clear quickly with adequate ventilation.

Cleaning the oven:

Use the SimplySteam function in the main oven to loosen burnt-on food before wiping with a damp cloth. The inner glass panel in the top cavity door can be fully removed to allow thorough cleaning of both surfaces. Allow all cavities to cool fully before cleaning.

Ceramic hob care:

Wipe the ceramic hob surface with a damp cloth or specialist ceramic hob cleaner once it has cooled. Always check the residual heat indicators before touching any hob zone after cooking. Avoid abrasive pads or harsh chemicals that could scratch the vitroceramic surface.
