Setup and Care

Siting and installation:

Allow at least 10 cm of clearance at the rear and sides for ventilation. The reversible door can be re-hinged to open from either side - consult the user manual for door reversal instructions. Freezer Guard means this unit is suitable for installation in a garage, utility room, or outbuilding with ambient temperatures between -15°C and 43°C.

Initial setup:

Allow the freezer to stand upright for at least 4 hours after delivery before switching it on, to allow refrigerant to settle. Set the internal thermostat dial to your preferred temperature and allow the unit to reach operating temperature before loading food.

Cleaning and maintenance:

Frost Free technology eliminates the need for manual defrosting entirely. Wipe the interior with a damp cloth and mild detergent periodically. Clean the door seal regularly to maintain an airtight closure and keep the condenser coils at the rear free from dust.
