Setup and Care

Installation:

The LWA210461W is a freestanding front-loader designed for a standard 600 mm appliance gap. It requires a cold water fill connection and a 230 V / 50 Hz mains supply with a 13 A plug. Both front and rear feet are adjustable by 0-15 mm to level the machine on uneven flooring. Allow adequate clearance at the rear for hose connections before pushing into position.

First Use:

Run a short empty cycle before the first wash to rinse through the drum and hoses. Check that the shipping bolts have been removed from the rear of the machine - these are transport fittings and must be taken out before the first spin cycle. Refer to the included user manual for bolt locations and removal instructions.

Ongoing Care:

Run the Drum Clean programme regularly to keep the drum fresh and free of detergent build-up. Wipe the door seal and detergent drawer after each wash cycle to prevent residue accumulation. Leave the door slightly ajar between washes to allow air circulation inside the drum.

Detergent and Loading:

Use detergent quantities appropriate to the load size and soil level - the WaterMode function can be selected to add an extra rinse if required. Avoid overfilling the drum beyond the rated 10 kg capacity, as this affects wash quality and spin performance. Consult the programme guide in the user manual for recommended temperatures and spin speeds by fabric type.
