Blomberg Washer Dryer with SpinSave and RapidFinish for Busy Households

A dependable Blomberg washer dryer built around everyday life:

The Blomberg LRF854311W is a freestanding 8kg wash / 5kg dry washer dryer designed for households that put the machine through its paces every week. The 8kg wash / 5kg dry configuration covers family washes at full capacity, while the condensation drying system means no external vent is needed. The brushless Optima Inverter Motor runs quietly, making it well suited to open-plan kitchens and busy homes alike.

SpinSave technology cuts energy use on every cycle:

SpinSave uses innovative drum movements to dissolve detergent faster and with less heat, delivering up to 35% energy savings in everyday wash programmes. Smart sensors track moisture content in the drum and stop the drying cycle automatically once the correct dryness level is reached, so clothes are not over-dried and energy is not wasted. The Eco 40-60 programme carries an A wash efficiency class and uses just 47 kWh per 100 cycles.

RapidFinish and Wash & Wear for last-minute laundry:

The RapidFinish programme washes and dries a full 5kg load in under 3 hours, and can turn around up to 5 shirts in just 55 minutes. For truly urgent items, the Wash & Wear programme handles up to 1kg and completes in 60 minutes. A 14-minute Mini quick wash is also available for lightly soiled items that do not need drying.

Hygiene+ Wash & Dry and drying options:

The Hygiene+ Wash & Dry programme is designed to remove cat and dog hair, making it a practical choice for households with pets. The dryer side of the machine offers 5 drying programmes across 3 dryness levels and 2 temperature settings, giving precise control over delicate fabrics as well as heavier items like cottons and synthetics.

Practical controls and installation flexibility:

The LRF854311W is controlled by a dial with an LED display and includes a 24-hour delay start, a child lock, and the WaterMode function for water saving or extra rinse as needed. The door opens to 170° for easy loading, and the porthole measures 34cm in diameter. Four adjustable feet with a 15mm adjustment range make levelling straightforward on uneven floors, and the 1.3m outlet hose gives good installation flexibility for a freestanding unit.

Setup and Care

Positioning:

The LRF854311W is a freestanding unit that requires a mains electrical supply (230 V / 50 Hz / 10 A) and a cold water inlet connection. The four adjustable feet allow the machine to be levelled on uneven floors, and the condensation drying system means no external vent or ductwork is needed.

First use:

Run an empty drum cycle using the Drum Clean+ function before the first wash to ensure the drum is clean and ready for laundry. Check that the inlet hose and outlet hose are securely connected and that the outlet hose is correctly positioned before starting.

Ongoing maintenance:

Use the Drum Clean+ function regularly to keep the interior fresh. Clean the detergent drawer and door seal periodically to prevent residue build-up, and check that the filter is clear to maintain drainage performance.

Detergent guidance:

Use detergent quantities appropriate for the load size and water hardness in your area. The SpinSave drum action is designed to dissolve detergent effectively, so avoid overdosing, particularly on shorter or cooler cycles.
