Long-lasting protection for outdoor timber:
Bondex Satin Wood Protection is a solvent-based, translucent woodstain formulated for all types of outdoor timber. The Antique Pine shade (colour code 903) enhances the natural grain of the wood while forming a durable satin finish that resists UV rays, water penetration, blue stain, and mould growth.
Practical coverage and quick-drying formula:
Each 750ml tin covers 10-15 m² per litre, making it well suited to doors, windows, cladding, shutters, eaves, and garden furniture. The formula is touch dry in 4-6 hours and recoatable after 16 hours at 23°C, allowing two to three coats to be applied within a working day under suitable conditions.
A breathable, crack-resistant surface film:
The finish forms a breathable surface film that resists flaking, peeling, and cracking over time. Built-in biocides - 3-Iodo-2-propynyl-butylcarbamate, 2-Octyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one, and Pyrithione Zinc - protect the dry film against mould and blue stain, keeping the surface cleaner for longer between maintenance coats.
