Large bulky items will be delivered to your door on a pallet by a courier. Durable satin finish for outdoor timber:
Bondex Satin Wood Protection is a solvent-based, translucent woodstain that forms a durable satin surface film on all kinds of outdoor wood and wood species. It protects timber against water, UV rays, mould, blue stain, and fungi, keeping the surface looking fresh and well-maintained without obscuring the natural grain of the wood.
Broad application across exterior woodwork:
This product is suited to windows, doors, shutters, eaves, cladding, garden furniture, and decorative woodwork. Coverage runs at 10-15 m² per litre, and the breathable surface film resists cracking and peeling. Apply 2-3 coats by brush, dipping, or airless spraying; the surface is touch dry within 4-6 hours and recoatable after 16 hours.
Correct preparation gives the best result:
Remove all dirt, algae, mould, and loose material before applying. Softwood moisture content should not exceed 15%; hardwood should not exceed 12%. Do not apply below 5°C or above 80% relative humidity. Bare softwood outdoors should be primed with Bondex Preserve before the first coat.
