Setup and Care

Installation:

This oven requires hardwiring to a dedicated 16 A circuit and must be installed by a qualified electrician. Niche dimensions of 585-595 mm high x 560-568 mm wide x 550 mm deep are required. A 1.2 m power cable is supplied. Always refer to the installation guide included in the box before fitting.

First use:

Run the oven empty at 250°C for approximately 30 minutes before cooking to burn off any manufacturing residues. Wipe the interior with a damp cloth once cooled. Register the appliance on the Bosch website to activate the 2-year warranty.

Routine cleaning:

Use the built-in Hydrolytic cleaning programme regularly to loosen grease and food residue with minimal manual effort. The EcoClean Direct back panel breaks down splatter automatically during normal cooking cycles. Wipe the TFT-touchdisplay Plus and Digital Control Ring with a soft, damp cloth - avoid abrasive cleaners on the display surface.

Door and exterior care:

The triple-glazed CoolTouch door glass can be removed for thorough cleaning; refer to the user manual for the correct removal procedure. Clean the outer glass panels with a non-abrasive glass cleaner and a soft cloth. The SoftClose and SoftOpen hinges require no lubrication or adjustment under normal use.
