Setup and Care

Getting started:

Remove all transit bolts and fit the supplied cover caps before use. Position the machine on a firm, level surface and connect the water inlet hose to a cold water supply. The adjustable feet allow up to 12 mm of height compensation for uneven flooring.

Loading and detergent:

With i-DOS active, fill the i-DOS compartment with liquid detergent and the softener reservoir; the machine calculates the correct dose automatically for each load. For manual dosing programmes, use the standard detergent drawer and follow the detergent manufacturer's guidelines for load size and soil level.

Routine cleaning:

Wipe the door seal and glass regularly to remove lint and residue. Clean the pump filter every few weeks by unscrewing the access cover at the front lower panel, draining any residual water, and removing fluff or debris. Run the drum-clean programme periodically without laundry to keep the drum fresh.

Stacking and storage:

The WGH254ARGB is compatible with Bosch condenser and heat pump tumble dryers using the appropriate stacking kit (sold separately). If the machine is to be left unused for an extended period, run a short rinse cycle to clear the drum and leave the door slightly ajar to allow airflow.
