Setup and Care

Positioning and installation:

The WGG244ZCGB is a freestanding front-load machine requiring a standard 600 mm wide space with access to a cold water inlet and a standpipe or sink for the drain hose. The door hinges on the left and opens to 165°, so leave adequate clearance on that side. The machine can be stacked with a compatible Bosch tumble dryer using a Bosch stacking kit, purchased separately.

First use:

Remove all transit bolts from the rear of the machine before switching on - running the drum with transit bolts in place will cause damage. Run an empty Drum Clean cycle before the first laundry load to flush the drum and hoses. Refer to the supplied installation guide for inlet hose connection and drain hose routing.

Routine care:

Run the Drum Clean programme monthly or when the machine prompts it, using a proprietary washing machine cleaner or as directed in the manual. Clean the detergent drawer and door seal regularly by wiping with a damp cloth. Leave the door ajar between washes to allow air circulation inside the drum.

Detergent guidance:

Use a detergent appropriate for the fabric type and programme selected - powder, liquid, or capsule detergents are all suitable. The AntiStain function works with standard detergents already in the drawer; no specialist stain products are required. Follow the detergent manufacturer's dosing instructions and avoid overfilling the drawer compartments.
