Cuprinol 5 Year Ducksback uses a wax-enriched, water-based formula that forces moisture to run off the surface, much like water off a duck's back. It colours and weatherproofs rough sawn sheds and fences for up to 5 years, providing reliable protection against Irish weather conditions. The matt finish gives a natural, low-sheen result that suits timber outbuildings and boundary fencing.

Quick to Apply, Quick to Dry:

The non-drip formulation makes application straightforward using either a brush or a roller, with minimal mess. Apply 2 to 3 coats evenly along the grain, and each coat is showerproof within 1 hour and ready for recoating in 2 to 4 hours. Do not apply at temperatures below 5°C or to smooth planed wood, decking, or garden furniture.

Coverage and Colour:

One 5-litre tin covers up to 24 square metres with a single coat, equivalent to approximately 8 standard fence panels. The Herring Grey shade is a natural, mid-tone grey that works well against timber and foliage. The low-odour, water-based formula is safe to use around plants and pets once dry.
