What heat settings does the Dimplex Tango TNG20E have?

Three positions: 0kW, 1kW and 2kW, so the flame effect can run with no heat at all, or with half or full output from the 2kW fan heater inside the stove. A variable thermostat holds the room at temperature and the remote covers all of it.

What does the Dimplex Tango TNG20E fuel bed look like?

Dimplex uses real coals lit from beneath by its Optiflame system, rather than a printed or moulded bed. The body is a cast-iron effect in matte black. The stove is freestanding, so it needs no fireplace opening and no building work.

Does the Dimplex Tango TNG20E need installing?

No. It is freestanding and plugs in, with a 1.5m cable. That is the practical reason to choose a stove over an inset fire: it stands on a hearth or against any flat wall, which suits a room with no fireplace and a rented home.

What warranty does the Dimplex Tango TNG20E carry?

One year. That is shorter than the two years Warmlite gives on the Whitby and the WL46018, so weigh it against the Optiflame effect and the real coal fuel bed, which are what the Tango is bought for.
