One Product, Multiple Functions:

Dulux Trade Aqua UniPrimer combines primer, sealer, stain blocker, and undercoat into a single water-based formula, reducing the number of products and coats needed during surface preparation. It covers up to 10 sq m per litre and requires just 1 to 2 coats on most surfaces.

Fast Drying, Suitable for Trade Use:

Touch dry in just 30 minutes and recoatable in as little as 1 hour under normal conditions, this primer supports a faster turnaround on site. At lower temperatures or higher humidity, or when covering stains or using a tinted product, allow at least 2 hours before recoating. Do not apply below 8°C, as recommended by British Standard BS 6150.

Wide Substrate Compatibility, No Sanding Required:

Aqua UniPrimer adheres effectively to timber, MDF, metal, uPVC, glass, tiles, and standard wall surfaces without the need for sanding. It blocks water marks, nicotine, grease, tannin bleed, and graffiti, and inhibits rust on metal surfaces. It can be applied by brush, roller, or airless spray - thin up to 5% for airless spray or 20% for HVLP; no thinning is required for brush or roller application.

Dulux Trade Aqua UniPrimer holds Nordic Swan certification, confirming it meets product-specific environmental, health, and quality requirements across all relevant lifecycle stages. Clean-up requires water only, and the water-based formula produces low odour during application.
