Dulux Weathershield All Weather Protection Smooth Masonry Paint is a water-based exterior emulsion formulated on an all-acrylic resin base, designed to withstand cracking, flaking, peeling, and persistent damp conditions. It becomes rainproof in just 30 minutes, making it a practical choice for the unpredictable Irish climate. Two full coats cover up to 75m² from a single 5 litre tin on smooth surfaces.

Stay Clean Technology and the Weathershield Promise:

This paint is formulated with Dulux's unique Stay Clean technology, which actively resists dirt pick-up and inhibits mould growth within the paint film to keep the finish looking cleaner for longer. It is backed by the Weathershield Promise: if the paint peels, flakes, or develops mould growth within the film for as long as you live in your home, Dulux will return the value of a replacement product. Micro-Porous and Flexible Film:

The micro-porous breathable paint film allows moisture and air to be released from the substrate whilst preventing rain from penetrating and damaging walls. Anti-Fade technology helps the Pure Brilliant White colour remain consistent over time, and the flexible film covers minor imperfections including hairline cracks across brick, concrete, pebbledash, roughcast, and render.

Dulux Weathershield Smooth Masonry Paint carries British Board of Agrément (BBA) approval for 15-year exterior protection performance. It is suitable for use by both DIY homeowners and professional decorators, and can be applied by brush or roller. Apply only in dry conditions, above 10°C, when bad weather is not forecast, and allow 4 hours between coats.
