The Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool HP1 replaces three separate appliances in one compact, bladeless unit. It purifies year-round, heats in winter using positive temperature coefficient (PTC) ceramic plates, and cools in summer - all from a single device that stands 765 mm tall and weighs 5.26 kg, making it straightforward to move between rooms as needed.

Fully sealed HEPA H13 filtration:

The whole machine - not just the filter element - is sealed to HEPA H13 standard and tested to EN1822. The 360° Combi Glass HEPA + Carbon filter captures 99.97% of microscopic allergens and pollutants as small as 0.3 microns, including dust, pollen, pet dander, and household odours. Dyson recommends replacing the filter every 12 months; the LCD screen displays a filter alert when replacement is due.

Air Multiplier technology and auto mode:

Air Multiplier™ technology draws on principles used in turbochargers and jet engines to amplify airflow up to 15 times, projecting over 290 litres per second of purified air across a room of up to 81 m³ (measured to the POLAR standard). With 350° oscillation and 10 fan speed settings, auto mode constantly monitors air quality via three integrated sensors and adjusts airflow automatically, using energy only when needed.

Quiet night mode and sleep timer:

Night mode runs at the quietest settings (maximum 50% quieter than standard operation) with a dimmed LCD display, so it can monitor and purify through the night without disturbing sleep. A sleep timer can be set to switch the unit off at intervals from 15 minutes up to 9 hours.

Wi-Fi, app, and voice control:

The HP1 connects via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth to the MyDyson™ app on iOS and Android, allowing remote scheduling, air quality reports, filter life tracking, and product support. It is compatible with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Siri for voice control. The curved, magnetised remote control stores neatly on top of the machine when not in use.

Safety and ease of use:

There are no fast-spinning external blades and no exposed heater elements, making the HP1 safer around children and pets than conventional fan heaters or freestanding purifiers. An automatic shut-off activates if the unit is tipped over. The 1.8 m cable gives reasonable reach from a wall socket.

Setup and Care

Getting started:

Place the HP1 on a flat, stable surface with at least 30 cm of clearance on all sides for optimum airflow. Plug into a standard 230 V wall socket using the 1.8 m cable and power on. Download the MyDyson™ app on iOS or Android to connect via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth for scheduling, air quality monitoring, and filter life tracking.

Daily use:

Use auto mode for everyday operation - the three integrated sensors will detect pollutants and adjust fan speed automatically. Set your preferred oscillation angle (up to 350°) and temperature target via the remote control or the MyDyson™ app. Night mode is recommended for overnight use, running the unit quietly with a dimmed display.

Filter maintenance:

The 360° Combi Glass HEPA + Carbon filter requires no washing or vacuuming - simply replace the entire filter unit every 12 months, or when the LCD screen displays the filter replacement alert. Replacement filters are available from Dyson directly and from authorised stockists.

Exterior care:

Wipe the outer casing with a soft, dry or lightly damp cloth. Do not use solvents, detergents, or abrasive cleaners on the loop amplifier or base. The bladeless loop amplifier can be dusted with a clean, dry cloth; no internal cleaning of the airway is required by the user.
