NightOptics night vision activates automatically in low light, using invisible infrared so the camera does not disturb your child's sleep. Hybrid Monitoring - Local Wireless and Wi-Fi Combined:

The E21 uses eufy's Hybrid Monitoring system, which maintains a direct local wireless connection between the camera and the 5-inch monitor without relying on your home internet. When you are away from home, the eufy Baby app for iOS and Android lets you check in remotely over Wi-Fi. If the direct wireless signal weakens at range, Smart Connect automatically routes the feed through your home router for a more stable connection.

Portable Battery Power for Home and Travel:

The camera's built-in 5,000 mAh rechargeable battery provides up to 9 hours of use on a full charge (5.5 hours with night vision active), and the monitor runs for up to 12 hours before needing to be recharged. Both units charge in their included cradle mount, and the battery-powered design means the E21 works equally well in a hotel room, at a relative's home, or during a power cut.

Alerts, Audio, and Family Sharing:

The camera monitors room temperature continuously and includes cry detection and loud noise detection, each adjustable across five sensitivity levels. Active Noise Reduction (ANR) technology reduces background noise by 20 dB so alerts are based on your child's sounds rather than ambient interference. App access can be shared with up to five family members, and split-screen monitoring lets you view two cameras simultaneously on the one display - useful for families with twins or children in separate rooms.

Local Storage with No Subscription Required:

All recorded video is stored locally on the device, secured with RSA-1024 and AES-128 encryption. Storage is expandable up to 128 GB using a separately sold SD card, and 24/7 recording is available through the eufy Baby app. There is no ongoing subscription fee required for any feature of the E21.

Setup and Care

Getting Started:

Place the camera and monitor in their cradle mounts to charge fully before first use. Download the eufy Baby app on iOS or Android to enable remote monitoring and to configure alerts, sensitivity settings, and family sharing.

Camera Positioning:

Position the camera at a height and angle that gives a clear view of the cot or sleeping area. Use the 330° pan and 60° tilt controls on the monitor or in the app to fine-tune the viewing angle without physically adjusting the camera.

Storage and Recording:

For local video recording, insert a compatible SD card (sold separately, up to 128 GB) into the camera unit. All footage is encrypted on-device and does not require a cloud subscription.

General Care:

Wipe the camera and monitor with a soft, dry cloth to keep lenses and screens clear. Keep both units away from liquids and store in a cool, dry location when not in use.
