The Eufy Indoor Cam C220 records at 2K resolution (2560 x 1440 pixels), giving you a noticeably sharper picture than standard 1080p cameras. Combined with 360-degree horizontal pan and full-room tilt, there are no blind spots in the space you are monitoring. The 100-degree horizontal field of view means a single camera covers a full room without needing repositioning.

On-device AI tracking with no subscription required:

The C220 uses eufy Security's self-developed AI algorithm to detect and track human movement directly on the device, without sending footage to a cloud server for processing. When a person is detected, the camera follows their route automatically, keeping them in frame. Local storage via a microSD card (up to 128 GB, not included) means recordings are saved without a mandatory monthly fee, though optional cloud plans are available if preferred.

Night vision, two-way audio, and Privacy Mode:

Infrared night vision delivers clear black-and-white footage at a range of 8 to 10 metres in low light. The built-in microphone and speaker support two-way audio, so you can speak to and hear anyone in the room remotely through the eufy Security App. A single press of the Privacy Mode button repositions the camera to a preset angle facing away, giving a clear physical indication that recording is paused.

Voice assistant compatibility and ecosystem integration:

The C220 works with Amazon Alexa, Google Home, and Siri, allowing voice-controlled viewing on compatible smart displays. It connects via 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n) and is compatible with HomeBase 3 for expanded AI capabilities through BionicMind AI (requires HomeBase 3 firmware version 3.5.4.8 or above). Setup is managed entirely through the eufy Security App.

Setup and Care

Getting started:

Download the eufy Security App on iOS or Android and create or log in to your eufy account. Plug the camera in using the included USB adapter and cable, then follow the in-app steps to connect it to your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. The camera is ready to use within a few minutes of unboxing.

Mounting options:

The C220 sits stably on any flat surface such as a shelf, table, or countertop using its integrated base. For a more permanent position, use the included wall mount and screw pack to fix it to a wall or ceiling. Choose a location central to the room for the best pan-and-tilt coverage.

MicroSD card setup:

Insert a Class 10 or UHS-1 microSD card (up to 128 GB) into the slot on the camera body to enable local continuous or event-triggered recording. Formatting the card through the eufy Security App before first use is recommended to ensure reliable performance.

Keeping the camera in good condition:

Wipe the camera body with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust. Avoid using liquid cleaners directly on the lens or housing. Keep the USB cable connection secure and avoid bending the cable sharply at the plug point to maintain a reliable power connection.
